Terrific job! Welcome from IN. Your handquilted hearts remind me of a baby quilt I made years ago for my SIL. It was patches like yours with pink rosebuds.(Everyone had pink rosebuds for girls in those days!).

this is not my first quilt. I did many more. I did for a fundraiser for breast cancer and ALS. I should show you all one day. I am also in the process of sewing 9 I spy quilt. I did a lot of charity quilt. I also stitch for a great cause Cole's quilt it is for kids with SMA. What I meant to say it was my first time hand stitching a quilt, usually I do it by machine. Sorry for the confusion.

What a really cute quilt, and I especially liked the quilted hearts, but then I really have a thing for hearts. You did a great job on the stitching, as they are even. I was told by a quilt teacher a long time ago when I took a quilt stitching class after a quilt guild meeting, that it's not the size of the stitches that matter, they just have to be even. When my eyesight was better, I could make really small stitches, now I jut work on having them all the same size. You did a great job for your first quilt.
