Nice choice on fabric. I've never done QAYG, something to put on my list to try.
|
I try to do all of my quilts as QAYG. I think you've done a great job on this one. Especially since it was your first using this technique.
|
I've done QAYG following Marti's method. I don't really like hand stitching but it did come out nicely. I'm using the cotton theory method for attaching the blocks now.

Look allll the way to the bottom for Quilt as you go directions: http://www.edonyourown.com/uoi/printables.html I enjoyed looking at the other things (patterns, puzzles) she has on the site too. |
Very pretty. I haven't tried QAYG. One more thing for my list!

Good work, just keep praciting. Love your colors.

I have a problem with sashing ,too have a hard time lining up seams. There must be an easier way. |

Very nice job and your choice of fabrics are very pretty.
I am working on a QAYG quilt also. I'm following the instructions from quilters cache. Here is the limk if anyone is interested http://quilterscache.com/H/howtoquiltoneatatime.html The one i'm putting together does not have sashing, although you can make it that way also. |
That is so pretty. I think you did a great job. Thanks for sharing with us.
