First try at tiny squares
 

This was made from left-overs of a mystery quilt. I am pleased with the checkerboards--the little squares measure 1" across. The whole block is 6" finished. I'm going to quilt this and bind so I can take it as a hostess gift to my friend in Hawaii.

I found enough blocks to do two more squares today, so made mug rugs out of them. I'm pleased with how the set is turning out--hope my friend will be pleased, too, and I think she will be.
