Here are the first two blocks of "A Thirties Treasure" applique class I'm taking. I chose not to use thirties colors, instead I went with brights and a black background. Here they are........

Thanks, that was my first block, I only have fifteen more to go...... and for me at least it is slow going, but fun! I had no idea how much work went into applique, but I am enjoying every step.
