Woo Hoo! The tough part is done...on you go to the pleasure of seeing it develop from flimsy to quilt. Beautiful!

Your 'flimsy' is absolutely wonderful.

I am so jealous. I'm still struggling along doing a block now-and-then. Beautiful job!

I am always amazed at these lovely quilts and all the time and work that goes into making them. Yours is beautiful.

You have a lot of talent and patience! Lovely work and dedication! Please post it again when you finish it, no matter how long it takes!

NICE! I am so envious of you for having come this far! I have the book and 3 squares done but no time to work on it. Congratulations to you.

How are you planning to quilt it? 1/4" from seams, an overall pattern? I have a Sylvia's Bridal Sampler quilt to do and still don't know how I should quilt it. Your Dear Jane is marvelous! Great Job on it.

That looks great-really love that pattern.

I'm not planning anything in particular. I've never seen the quilt in person and I can't get enough detail from internet photos to make sense. Someone once remarked that as the blocks are only 4.5 inch in size just a few lines of stitching in each should be sufficient. Even the sashing is only .5 inch in size. I think my quilting will be in the form of the path of least resistance, each will be different. One thing I do know is that my quilting will be very different at the end from the amateur stitches at the beginning LOL

Congratulations! I wonder how many of us have unfinished ones laying around.

QuiltnLady1 03-23-2016 08:08 PM

Congrats on finishing the quilt -- the amount of work that goes into one of these astounds me. Great job -- you should be proud of your persistence to get it done.
