Knot Sew 09-22-2007 05:16 AM

Oh yes I remember it when it was on a design wall in a bunch of little pieces, I liked it then love it now.

I want to try one maybe in full bed size or maybe a Christmas wreath wall hanging......the list is long. lol

Again I like it R :D

lin 09-22-2007 05:24 AM

You did a really good job placing those floral pieces just right CQ! I love it. I've always been intimidated by that technique. I'm sure I'd be sitting there for weeks trying to get it to look like anything real at all. LOL Good job, it's gorgeous. :)

Cathe 09-22-2007 06:04 AM

That is VERY PRETTY!!! well done!

live2teach 09-22-2007 06:39 AM

That is gorgeous! Man, if you keep this up, you'll get all of those projects finished. LOL. Nice work!

What a feeing of accomplishment when you wind up another project. I bet you're feeling smug (as well you should!)!! Especially since the finished product turned out so lovely. What's next?

Thanks for all the nice compliments....What's next you ask??? Well....I whipped two more sets of coasters up this morning using Christmas fabrics... right now I am trying to work on some tablerunners. DH is out cutting wood so have the place to myself today! Usually don't get much done on the weekends! LOL

Yvonne 09-22-2007 08:12 AM

Patsy, I love your coasters. I made my daughters hot pads this summer using that pattern. What did you put in the middle for the coasters? Just curious! (and nosey!!)

Country Quilter 09-22-2007 09:05 AM

I used one layer of batting and some tablecloth material I have had for years! A gal that owned a restaurant at the time ordered her tablecloths too big so I had to cut 9 or 10 inches off two sides to square them up to fit her tables....she let me keep the scraps...I use it alot for things like this...its kind of a heavy material. I have both white and red for colors in it.... kind of handy to have!

amma 09-22-2007 09:12 AM

Beautiful coasters :D My word but you are just whipping the projects out left and right  Can't wait to see what you do next :D :D :D

ladymyste 09-22-2007 11:58 AM

Patsy - those are great and I love the wall hanging.

Coal Miner Wife 09-22-2007 06:50 PM

OHHHH I really like it. I love hearts!!! You sure are a busy bee LOL

Great Job on all your projects.

Lisa 09-22-2007 08:06 PM

Very pretty!

live2teach 09-22-2007 08:09 PM

I love your coasters, those are too cute! Those would make great christmas gifts, put a little ribbona round them and a nice gift tag and voila...lol. I made some raggedy coasters for my grandmother in law and my mom. I love your holiday colors!

Celeste 09-22-2007 08:54 PM

You're putting a few of us to shame, but keep it up! Maybe we'll learn one of these times! :D

ShellyQ 09-23-2007 12:55 AM

Wow you are busy, wasn't it only a couple of days ago that you had two lovely seasonal wall hangings completed. Love how your heart has turmed out,I too remember seeing it on the design wall :-)

Country Quilter 09-23-2007 02:03 AM

thanks again everyone! Yeah, that heart laid in my sewing room for a long time and when I pulled it out and put it together and it went so fast I was ashamed of myself for not finishing it sooner! LOL

A couple of tablerunners in the works now and then I have a quilt top I put together on Superbowl Sunday (mystery) that I plan to sandwich and quilt. Been a fun week...

I hate that summer has come to an end but I love I have more time for quilting now!

susan s. 09-23-2007 03:44 AM

really, I never thought much of Fabric coasters let alone quilted ones. But, seeing yours. I believe I've changed my mind. I think those would make lovely Christmas or Housewarming gifts also.

Country Quilter 09-23-2007 04:25 AM

Susan...I gave several sets of coasters to the "gals" in my family last year and they all loved them! I told them too....."now USE them....if they get too icky looking I will make you some more!" LOL

susan s. 09-23-2007 05:00 AM

the cool thing is you can throw them in a lingerie bag and wash them in the machine.

QuiltinLee 09-23-2007 05:15 AM

I'm green with envy. You've done just a fantastic job! Take a bow. And the amount you have gotten done is staggering. I'm jealous. I only get a couple of projects done a year.
