I have everything cut out but I don’t understand the quick pieced triangle method. I have looked for a you tube tutorial but can’t seem to find one.

Auntpu- I haven’t made this quilt but I just got the book. Here is my interpretation in photo below however, I drew this before I read she allows a margin all around(see page 22) I think if I had drawn it center of the 7 1/2x10 1/2 it would be 1 inch extra on sides and only 1/2 in on top and bottom.
Draw each square 2 1/8 inch by drawing 4 across and 3 down.
To get 24 half square triangles you sew 1/4 in on each side of darker drawn lines. Cut on lines of blocks up& down and across after stitching.
I think this will work correctly don’t you? PM me if you need to. I’d like to know how you come out. I want to eventually make it too.-Toogie

Thanks Toogie , I do think this will work, just wasn’t registering in my brain for some reason.

I made this Pam Bono design several years ago for a shower curtain. Had the shorten the original length, but the width is just right.

My friend just finished piecing this quilt - she added borders top/sides and bottom to make it larger. It is a real work to complete - an incredible number of flying geese. Two of us helped her with the layout (she hadn't followed the original colour choices, but instead chose a scrappy version).....now she's pondering just how she will quilt it. She does all her quilting on her domestic and I think this quilt will end up close to king sized....

Great pattern and I would quilt gently curving lines over the whole quilt to simulate wind blowing.
