I need LOTS of practice with FMQ, so I used up some scraps and made a doll quilt for my GD. I am sure neither she or her dolly will care what my stitches are like. ;)
front..."Mother Goose" characters not too bad...thread blends in!!! backside....I used cream thread so I could see better. Probably not the best idea!! HAHAHA |
Your stitches look great. You did awesome. Keep on practicing! :D :D :D

Oh...the binding was also scrap. Left over from my step daughter's quilt.

Good thinking! It's cute too!

I have some practice hot pads for the same reason! My table doesn't care if the hot pad is a bit odd looking!
Keep practicing. You will get to where you want to be eventually and in the mean time I'm sure there are lots of "babies" that need quilts. |
I think you did great. Keep working with it and keep sending us pics. Your quilt is so cute.

Your quilt is so cute! Love the back too. I've been doing quite a bit of FMQ practicing too. It's addictive I think.

Yes, I feel the same way! Once you are in that "rhythm" it is very satisfying. Staying there takes the practice I guess.
