It is a lovely block and way toooooooo difficult for me. It is amazing how somebody can see something simple like a log cabin and complicate the hell out of it. Then there are people like Eleanor Burns and Liz Porter who see ways to simplify our quilting.

Congratulations on finishing the block. I don't think I would try it.

There's a new book on that technique which I was going to buy...Not anymore..I'll stick to the easy PP Log Cabin

if this doesn't look like an april fool's joke, i don't know what does!! and to think there is written instructions,too!!
i would go MAD cutting those pieces out!!
the outcome is nice, you must have a LOT of patience...

it is pretty and I love your butterflies in the center. But wouldn't paper piecing be easier and faster

That is the next thing on my list to learn. Years ago a new neighbor tried to teach me, but I just didn't grasp the technique. She used all types of fabric and used newspaper...
