It always seems interesting to follow along as a quilt is in process.. the bits and pieces slowly come together and emerge into a wondrous work of art, a useful, beautiful creation. Since I have just started on a journey to make a totally different kind of quilt (at least new and different for me!), I have decided to try to chronicle my journey.
I have designed the quilt in EQ5. It is mainly Angle Play blocks. Angle Play is a trademark of Margaret Miller. I attended two of her classes locally and she is so inspiring! I am using her Angle Play Templates for this quilt.. They make rectangle triangle blocks a snap! part of a block.. My tools.. I just bought the Angle play templates recently, can't wait to see how your quilt finishes out - will be watching!

Hi, isn't Margaret Miller the greatest. I have done 2 of her Angle Play quilts so far and I love them. I believe she will be at Sew Expo again in March there in Puyallup. Last year I actually worked with her in her booth there and had a blast.
Which Angle Play design are you doing? If you would like to see pictures of my 2 Angle play quilts I will post them for you. Thanks, Sherryl Candlequilter |
I already love your colors!!!
