Ok, I fixed the corners on the blue one, it just wasn't going together right, so off it came and I put new ones on. :)

Now, the finished product!
The scalloped border was a chore. The corners aren't quite there as of yet, but it's still really cute and if I were to give it to someone, I'm sure they would overlook that part. So, what do you think?? |
It looks great! Nice work on all the blanket stitching!

Terri,
You did a really great job on it. So retro! I would make some cute tassles to hang from the corners to make that look intentional and they would never know the difference. I love it! |
Terri, I think it is beautiful. love the scalloped border. Elaine

Ben Franklin's has a bunch of tassels on their clearance rack. COOL! Guess where I'm going tomorrow! lol You know, looking at it again, the yellow square throws it off a bit, but ya know what? I don't care! I still think it's pretty and my favorite is the blue block. Gotta love that cobalt blue! |
Terri---love the scalloped edge....
Now, that's something else I need to learn how to do.. The blanket stictch (machine?) is lovely around all the pieces! |
It looks great ! Love the way it came out. I have never seen scallops done that way. Tassels will really make it stand out!

Gorgeous! Were the scallops hard to make? I've never seen any like that either.
