You did very good.

It looks great. Regarding time consuming custom quilting, I find what takes the most time is doing ditch work. I always prefer the look when there is some SID but sometimes it just isn't in the budget. You did an awesome job bringing this quilt to life with no ditch work. I really like the CC with the little curlyQ in it, especially from the back. It reminds me of Kim Stotsenberg's "heavy metal" technique.

My favorite border is the one with the bias strip. I used that as the stem for a feather. I was able to slip though areas to avoid a lot of starts and stops between borders.

This is a quilt top that was given to a quilter after a family found a closet of quilt tops in an Aunt's home. She is not sue if the quilt will be treasured or again thrown into a closet and forgotten.

Did you find the missing motif? That gets corrected tomorrow.

I only spotted the missing motif because you pointed it out! LOL! What beautiful work you do!! This quilt sure can't hide anymore!

I loved that CC with the swirl too. I saved it for inspiration. I am going to try it. :)
I took a class with Kim one time. She was a great teacher. :)

Your quilting brought this beautiful quilt back to life. Hopefully it will be well loved by somebody.

Beautiful quilt - now out of the closet for sure. Great work and I hope it will be appreciated in it's new home, not hidden in a closet.

I think it is wonderful

This is not a closet quilt. Quilting is beautiful.
