Four Donation Quilts from the Boom and Block Swaps
5 Attachment(s)
Several of my "Boom Buddies" has passed along block sets from Boom swaps gone by, for me to make up into charity quilts. These 4 are made from the blocks that Bibliostone gave me. I think the recipients will love them!

Those are all wonderful. I love that you used such bright vibrant colors to set them in. It really makes the blocks pop, especially the iris quilt and the mans quilt. Also really like how you quilted the star block you posted a closeup of.

Wonderful!!! I do 6" blocks for donation quilts. I'm wondering where you find the patterns for your blocks? I googled Boom Swap blocks but didn't find anything. Could you point the way, please?

Love the fabrics you use! https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...r-t302395.html https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...r-t302396.html As far as the block patterns go, we use any patterns we like that make a 12.5" block. There are plenty of block patterns free online, or books such as the "Around the Block" series. You can google 12" quilt block patterns (12.5" unfinished). |
Well done, SewBizGirl. Nice job on each one and great quilting, too. I admire your work, and getting finished so quickly!.
|
You are a very talented quilter. Love these four quilts. Thanks for sharing.
