Four Table Toppers
1 Attachment(s)
I have been commissioned to make a 14" round table topper for a bowl some people bought - I think the bowl looks like carnival glass. So I made three different toppers in an effort to do what they wanted. I think they will take the smaller one.
I like all of them so it doesn't matter to me, I can always donate them or use them myself. Doubt I will agree to commissions in the future. The dark color one is actually purple, lavender, a pink pattern and cream with spring flowers. This one is for me. |
All are beautiful!
I think my choice would be the one on the bottom right. And of course purple is always wonderful. |
All are very pretty! I made the same purple one..with purple! Mine isn't nearly as pretty! You chose th perfect shades!
They are all very nice, but I really like the top left one. Is there a pattern for it?
I like them all too but I am with Juneayerza. I love the top left. Did you use a 12 degree ruler for it?
all are lovely
They are all very pretty, but I think the bottom right one looks more like carnival glass.
Gee they are all so pretty who could choose just one? You might have to sell a couple of these to your friend. I too love the hopi design round one. I am not sure but, I think I bought this pattern when I got a nine degree ruler. It kind of looks like that.

they are all beautiful
I like making toppers and runners |

They're all lovely.
ver nice!!!
Sorry - I usually include the pattern names.
The purple one is an Ozark Star - free Fons & Porter pattern. The upper left and bottom right are free Phillips Fiber patterns. On the bottom right is a Jewel Box Junior mini 10 point star. The upper left is a 12 degree pattern called Spring Blossom. The lower left one I just made up and cut 60 degree triangles and went from there. Oh, and the client decide they wanted the 10 point star in the colors of the 12 degree Spring Blossom. |
All are nicely done!
I vote for the top left one. I think it's a perfect match for Carnival glass. Very pretty fabric!
Nice job! Nice variety
I like the "purple" one. All are very nice.

Very pretty!

They are all beautiful, it would be hard to pick, but I do like the two on the right.

These are very pretty. I would have a hard time choosing my favorite because I love them all. Great job
I have some orange Carnival Glass that would look just wonderful on the top far left one. It's gorgeous! I just visited the Phillips site; there are some really pretty patterns there!
I like them all but what they pick may be totally different depending on how it looks with their bowl. I don't like doing anything on commission unless they know EXACTLY what they want. I don't need the added stress LOL
All are lovely

They picked up their copper and harvest gold topper today - they love it. They think it looks better than the photo I sent. Glad that is over.
For the next commission - a lap quilt for a 90th birthday - I will have the client go to the fabric store with me and choose what they prefer. (It also might help get her to comprehend just how expensive good fabric is!) |
I love all of them. I'll take the ones your friend does not choose!
They all look great....
Agree .... the top left is so unique!
