what is the quilt pattern in it??

A friend made this top and I am hand quilting it in my little handmade frame. I moved back here in February of last year and we finally got our own little place in August. My frame finally made it in the house TODAY! I can quilt my little heart out now.

I have no clue what this pattern is, so I took pics of it too. It's a 6 point star made of paper pieced diamonds. Bordering each star, are diamonds that are a solid piece. The whole top is this same pattern. Any ideas?

I don't know either, but that quilt is very nice. I too would love to know what the pattern is called.

I believe it is a string pieced lemoyne star.
I know its string pieced just not sure of the name..

Can't help with the name , but it sure is pretty :lol: Hopefully someone can help with the name

It looks scrappy with the diamond design. Maybe it's her own creation. Other than that, don't have a glue.
