Practice and a good machine do help a lot. You can always put a credit card with the needle hole cut in over the feed dogs when your feed dogs do not go down. You should be very proud of how far you have come.

A friend, who is taking her fourth class, is doing wonderful, but finds fault. I guess there are rules about how it's done, like leaving a space between continual stitches, where the stitches start and end, etc. I think, "Hey, it's free motion! Be free with it!" If we were all perfect the first time we did anything there would be no joy in learning and progressing. Come on girls ease on up on your bad selves! :D |

Wow, huge improvement in four years....just practice. The first time I took free motion class, all I could do was laugh..cause I was SOOOOO bad. Now, not so much. Keep up the great work.
