Or, what I learned over the weekend. Boy is this fun! You cut out the shapes like snowflakes and glue baste them down before free motion quilting over everything. Fun, fun, fun!

Wow! I really love that! I do machine applique where you go around each piece with matching thread. This looks like a whole lot of fun. I will definitely have to try it!
