I'm doing it on a Janome 6600 - if you can drop your feeddogs on your machine you should be able. My machine has a speed control which does make it easier than not having one, but it is achievable with practice without that. I spent hours with paper & pencil before I did it on the machine, which helped a great deal, then its just practice, practice, practice.

Machine (Janome 6600) - I would never have the patience to do that by hand!

Ohhhhhh I just got one of those (Janome 6600s). I hope I can do as well as you did! What a difference the feathering makes!

WOW what a difference. It was pretty to begin with but it is stunning now. I have never tried free motion quilting on a regular sewing machine not sure a book would help me that much :( But you did a wonderful job.
