She called me today to tell me that every time she looks at the table it makes her happy, cheerful and smile.
so, glad to make her days happy!

Hi, the book is 'French Braid Quilts' by Jane Hardy Miller, Amazon has it.

I just want to say thank you for sharing the name of the book! I was in a LQS last week and they had a table runner like this displayed with almost the same colors! I ask about the pattern and the salesperson said "it is in a book and we had sold out of the book, you may check back later". Well, I won't be checking back there but, Amazon looks better everyday! I love that table runner!

Your table runner reminds me of spring! Very pretty! 8-)
I'm just about finished with my first French braided runner.
How are you going to attach the binding? Will your corners be mitered. :?:

quiltinggirl 03-27-2010 06:11 PM

That's the same site I found my pattern. I added a 1" border, and a 3" outside border to make it wider.
I've always made my binding, but the site suggested to buy it. Maybe, the binding I've made is too thick. I wanted to miter the corners. With the purchased binding would I just ease it into place?
I think I'm making this project harder than it should be.

Kellie G 04-07-2010 10:14 AM

hokieappmom 04-07-2010 10:16 AM
