I started the purse on Sunday and have been working on the quilt for a year. My friend/quilting buddy/teacher passed away in Feb and I'm just now getting my Mojo back.The paisley type fabric is the lining with the inside pocket of purse. The red square shows a freehand drawing I'm trying to FMQ. I have one strip of QAYG done so far. It's from a Quilt mag, Aug/Sept 2011 called Rhythm in Blues. Friends wanted asian looking quilt, in red black and white. Now that I posted this, I'll be invested in finishing the whole thing and showing it off. There will be lots of mistakes, but it will be well-loved.

Neat bag. Is it your own patteran? If not, I would like to know where it came from, It's really different. I LOVE your FMQ design, too! Please post the quilt when done!

You will have a great time using the bag. What a great design. And this is a perfect place to perfect your FMQ. It gets easier and better with every project. I am glad your friend told you to post. I am sorry for your loss, that is always so hard.
