I have no idea how old this project is. I am thinking it has been around many years in the UFO drawer.
But, I am on a mission to finish those little things that have sat around and bugged me!

I made this up as I went. The center panel was something from a OLD magazine that you blew up the design from a diagram about one hundreadth the size. LOL!. That is why I am thinking this has to be some twenty years ago I made this. Boy I am embarrased!

I had these fabrics and threads on hand that fit perfectly with the center design. The wooden hanger I had hanging around was small, so I had to cut down the original design to accomodate the width of the piece. I finished about ten minutes ago. I kind of like it, what do you think?

Let me show you some of my old magazines. These are from the sixties seventies and are huge compared to the magazines of today. Like over twelve by ten inches and tons of projects inside! Maybe some of you will remember them? I am pretty sure one of these is where this stitchery is from! The earliest issue was seventy five cents!

I am thinking of maybe doing some add on tiny yo yo hearts or flowers to add in the area above and below in the green border. What do you all think? Yes? No? Too much?

It's really very nice. I too am working on finishing a little mini angel wallhanging that I have had for at least 15 years. and I just decided that "today was the day" I would work on it! I am glad I did.

RedGarnet222 11-12-2010 03:44 PM

Thanks so much! Isn't it funny how you still like something after so many years? I guess our tastes stay the same even years later.
I have no place for this now. I guess it is a gift for christmas or something???
