I just finshed this bow tuck purse for my daughter for Easter. I also made a snap purse to go with the larger one for small objects. I just love this fabric and hope to make myself one soon.

Those are adorable. The fabric is a hoot.

That's one sexy purse. She's gonna get lots of stares & comments & she will enjoy.

Love the fabric. Where did you find it, I live in Florida?

Marcia 04-02-2010 12:57 PM

Great purse (and I love your shadow too!)

QuiltingGrannie 04-02-2010 12:58 PM

Love the purse!
I'm making a purse today too and it's driving me nuts! I don't think I have the knack for making purses. It takes me ALL day to do one.
Oh, plus laundry, being here, dishes, painting a closet....
and to think I started the day with a migraine.
Wish I had your talent.

I love it!! I love the fabrics you used to coordinate but I really love the Fruit Butt Ladies, they are too precious!!

bailey 04-02-2010 01:06 PM

Those fruit butt ladies are awesome! Love the purse. Will have to find that pattern somewhere and make one too. Not a lot of places to shop here though.

Quilters-World magazine (can't remember which issue) featured this fabric in a beach tote bag and quilt they called "Fruit Salad". I cut the pages out and saved them for further use, sorry I didn't save the month of the issue. Perhaps you could find it online. At any rate, this fabric makes me chuckle, it's really cute.

The purse will certainly be a conversation starter wherever your daughter is!

That fabric is a hoot and your bag is so cute and adorable. Think I have a FQ of it - not enough for a purse, but maybe a pot holder.

wvdek 04-02-2010 03:45 PM

The back ground is my back yard water garden. It was such a sunny day and I wanted the colors and pattern to show up so I just used the outside table.
