I made this purse for a friend for Christmas. She has just the personality for a purse like this and she loved it. I am planning on making my five sisters, yes 5, and of course I have to make myself one, so a total of 6 beach tote/purses.

Funny to see and hear a different perspective on these ladies. I have the border print of these, and used it for a sewing purse. I"ve always referred to them as my fat bottomed ladies.

I love the bag. I have the fabric, infact I ordered enough of 3 different ones to send a piece of each one to a dear friend. I also had in mind to make bags out it. I am just sending my DF the fabric so she may choose to make something else. I like the way you made your bag.

I bought my fabric from Hancocks of Paducah. It is called Fruit Ladies

It's a line of fabrics. I have one piece of it and haven't figured out what I will do with it yet, but I absolutely love it! The purse is great. You can use different pieces of the fabric line for each purse so they're all the same but just a little different.
