my LQS carries them too..i will bet you can find a tutorial on them, maybe even utube!

adnil458 04-20-2011 03:54 AM

no book...$8 pattern or make up your own. 9.5" backing. 7.5" batting. as you sew pieces onto backing, it is quilting the 3 layers together.

piepatch 04-20-2011 03:57 AM

Very pretty and so unique !

The latest Quiltsitters group at my Bernina dealer featured the QAYG method using the Fun and Done patterns. Some of her patterns make very intricate looking quilts but some are really simple. Yours is gorgeous.

I liked this well enough to put it into EQ7 and play with it a little.
Just thought you might like to see what would happen if you used the same block and simply rotated some of the squares around. Here is what I got using your same colors. A whole new feel.

Wow! I really love that! Bought a Fun & Done Easy Diamonds pattern, haven't tried it yet though. If it turns out half as good as yours I'll be thrilled.

I will be doing more of these QAYG projects :))))

That is beautiful!!!! W#hat is the name of the pattern?

juneayerza 04-20-2011 03:44 PM

QAYG Means Quilt As You Go. You quilt each block as you make it, then all the blocks are pieced together to make the whole quilt. Take a look at the following link.
