I've been working on this for a few days and finished it today. It's another baby quilt.

It's so adorable!!! Did you put the little star in by hand, machine or machine embroidery? Really sets off the quilt!

Thanks, I traced the stars with a chalk marker and stitched it by machine. Real easy.

No pattern name that I know of, I just used a 2-7/8" square for the white with 6-1/8 X 2-7/8 next to them, with a 6-1/8 square for the larger square and traced a star and stitched it is all.

I'm making a fun n done quilt and ready to sew my blocks together. My question is do you have to drop the feed dog to sew the 4 layers of material and 2 layers of batting??

bearpaw 04-23-2009 01:40 PM

Uh, I only used 1 layer of batting. I sewed my block together 1st, then to the batting and batting. I used a walking foot and did not lower the feed dogs.
