I really love your letters. As a retired kindergarten/preK teacher, the use of tactile letters like this that kids can pick up, feel, trace, and manipulate is wonderful!
One suggestion - if your child has duplicate letters in his name, make the duplicates and put them up until he is ready to learn how to spell his name. They will be a great teaching tool! |
That is a great idea for those with children, and teachers with the younger grades.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but how did you finish the inside of the letters like A and B? The opening isn't large enough to pink the edges.

Thanks, mommysewist. I think I may try zigzagging around them to keep them from fraying.

Thank you for posting such a great project. Have a cast on my right wrist/arm (yes, l'm right handed, lol), but I think I could prep all my fabric so I can make these when I can cut and sew again.
