Simply gorgeous and bravo for getting it done! I started a similar one through our quilt shop and it was set up to be a three-year project. I reached a certain point and thought, 'life is too short ' and quit. I made one queen and a lap quilt by laying the blocks with plain blocks in between. Yours is stunning.

Congratulations! My quilt guild is working on this 2 - 4 blocks per month. I am about 1/4 of the way through. It is great fun, but I am working on the slow and steady wins the race theory. Endurance is a life skill and you have it. Good for you! Be proud of your accomplishment.

Congratulations! It is wonderful. I have my FWQ blocks in sheet protectors in two binders just waiting to start assembling - someday!
Now that you have come this close, it's a shame to have them hidden away!! And join those of us with a finished FWS! :) |
A year well used, this is beautiful.

Beautiful quilt. It must have been a challenge and it a job well done. It is always good to be stretched in our skills, isn't it.
