Hi LeeAnn, Thank you for your nice comments!! The leaves and stems are appliqued on then stitched around the leaves and a random pattern across the stems with embroidery floss.

I love both, the quilt and the dresses. You did a great job on them. I have never made a yo yo, my mother used to make them the old fashion way. I was watching Sewing with Nancy today and they were showing how to make both the old fashion way and how to use the yo yo makers that they have today. It is amazing what you can do with a little bit of imagination.

Patti, you did an awesome quilt and dresses! I can only wish that someday I make something just as beautiful as this. If you don't mind me asking... did you use a pattern for the dresses or did you make those on your own too? I must say, you are a VERY talented lady :lol:
