Thanks QuiltE, for the easier way to cut and make this block. I was experimenting with precut 2.5 squares I had on hand. Your way if definitely quicker if you have strips.

Thanks for posting this. I made a sample block years ago to remind me to make future blocks. No idea where that sample went. Out of sight out of mind 🤣

@toogie ... I can see you coming up with a great QOV version.
Bonus, it doesn't have to be all matchy-matchy. Years ago, I did a similar project, and just used the fabrics in whatever length I had. So there might have been a 12", 6" and 10" together. Slice and dice, then match the leftovers with others. Too small, cut into squares for this project or another. Way too small, toss it out! |
