It took way to long to start this quilt but I finally sat down and started sewing agian and my granddaughter can hardly wait to see it. She keeps asking if she is getting a quilt for Christmas. It is a Moda fabric called "Birdie". It's lime green, bright pink and chocolate inner border. The backing will be pink with the same birds on it.

Mackenna has not seen it yet but she knows its her turn to get a quilt for her bed. I will post it after I quilt it. I'm hoping that the fabric for the backing gets here in time to finish for Christmas. My avatar is my youngest GD Cassidy after a day at the bippity boppitty boop in Walt DisneyWorld in October. Thank you all for the nice comments. It is a cherry quilt to work on and am having fun deciding what to quilt on it. I got the backing last night and it's adorable. I put on the longarm this morning and am still debating the design. I got the label done with the birds on it so thats progress. only 7 days to have in wrapped......oh my the pressures on.
