I've noticed postings of great sales and such, so I thought I'd share. I went to Jo-Ann Fabric today and discovered that lots of fabric is on sale for 50% off. The fat quarters included, so I picked up some solids to add to my stash. At $1 each they seemed like the right price. The sale lasts through Sunday for those of you thinking you could use a few fat quarters.

The solids weren't on sale at my Joann's. The flannel and fleece were the best deals.

Bought 32 fat quarters and a large Olfa cutting mat with 50% off cupon. Yeeepeeee!

Jo Anns does have some really good sales. I may go tomorrow.

Also their thread are buy one get one free, had to stock up, i am getting a embroidery machine for Christmas, also had interfacing by the bolt for 2.99, another good buy, was scissors at 60% off, I also had the coupon that was 25% off total sale, i really got some great bargains.

For my birthday, my son and dil bought me the 14 and 17 inch swivel mats, a 10 pack of rotary blades and some rulers

I got about 13 $1.00 fat quarters at Joann's. Going to be making some appliqué cats and I lucked out picking them up plus a bolt of white muslin at 50% off for backing. Gotta love a sale :thumbup:

And JoAnn's has Accuquilt dies 30% off. I bought several. I don't have the patience to bid on Ebay any more. I never win!

why do they have such great sales when my DH takes me cruising and no Joann's for hundreds of miles. just a sacrifice I had to make.... and ejoy

Didn't go to the store but ordered batting on line, so there was not problem driving there and finding out they didn't have the batting I wanted or as many batts I needed. Double bonus, the batting was half price and no fee for shipping. Now that's what I call a good bargin. May in Jersey
