The third of the final border is on and the fourth well under way =D Now to decide if it needs four corner pieces or leave it rounded? I am thinking of keeping it rounded, but only because the quilting that I may be doing on it will be like spirograph flowers =D

Almost finished with the final border =D

When you finish this border it will be perfect.......actually it is perfect now.
Lots of stitches in that beauty.

I didn't say it in my other message, but your quilt is gorgeous and gives me hope that some day I will finish mine!

I wonder if you could bind it the way that a facing on a garment is done? The facing is the same shape as the edge you want to finish - on the one side, and the other side can be a straight or curved edge. Sew the shaped edge to the one you want to finish, right sides together, then turn and press. You could then just stitch down the straight edge on the back. Sort of like binding but gives a nice clean edge finish (like a sleeveless armhole on a blouse).
