Very patriotic.

The patriotic look with the GFG is unique and lovely.

Question - That is the method I use to piece my GFG hexagons but I don't trim the fabric after it is tacked around the hexagon. In other words, mine look like the back of your red hexagon. Since it will be long arm quilted, will that be a problem?

honestly, PWinston, I have no idea. This is the first time I've ever hand pieced or used the freezer paper method!

I found this site on this board and I like the punching holes in the middle of the hexagons so they are easier to remove. I am also working on GFG from scraps. I have fussy cut some of hexagons. Yours are really pretty. I like the idea of the Red White and Blue. I go to the local grade school with my box of freezer paper and die cut the hexagons. Its so easy.
