Here is a picture of a GFG that I found at Goodwill 24 yrs. ago. I was dropping things off at the back of the store & it had just been dropped off a short time before. I ask if it was for sale & they said it would be when they got a price put on it. I ask if they could do it then & they came back with $30.00 on it. I didn't know if that was good or bad but I wanted it. Spent half the grocery money for the week on it but we survived. It is all hand done & as you can see I have never finished the edge. Not really sure where or how to start on that.

I love it! That certainly would cost 30 dollars now in that great condition. Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty!
I also found one of these at a local antique shop. It's also hand stitched and I haven't finished it either. |
Great quilt. Love the design.

beautiful. i never seem to find anything at goodwill. i'm envious!

What a beautiful quilt! Glad you grabbed it! Hope you share pictures when it's done. Are you going to fill in the 'empty' spaces at the top and bottom and them bind & quilt it?

That's the only time I ever have. Most of the things I could add a few more dollars to & buy it new.

Wolfkitty,
I have no clue what I am going to do or when. I have had it for 24 years now. I keep it out with some other older quilts that I have. I have them rolled & tuck in a copper oval bucket type thing. You can't tell it isn't done that way & I get to enjoy them. |
very pretty
