OMG! I nearly wet my pants laughing! Your little Raiden reminds me of the time I 'dog sat' for a friend, and my oldest DD was about 5. I woke up the next morning to discover that she had found my big fat GREEN felt pen, and played dot-to-dot on the Dalmation! The dog was green for weeks! Still makes me laugh! Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Your Raiden is a doll!

My younger brother was about 6 at the time, he didn't like the color of the neighbor's cat. So he painted the poor thing Ocean Green......lol..Our Mom spent hours getting the paint off him. Smokey Joe didn't go near my brother after that.

Thanks Ladies,

I am going to get her a couple of coloring books and some crayons to put in it and send it off in her Christmas package.

Beautiful gifts (the fabric is excellent). Thanks for sharing the pics. Raiden is a lovely name and she sure looks like a livewire!

She gets her name from the video game Mortal Combat, the guy who plays with lightening.

Back when Cabbage Patch Kids were popular I took a soft sculpture doll making class and made one for my youngest son who was about 4 at the time. He decided 'Luke' (as in Skywalker) needed freckles, so he got hold of a big chisel tip black marker and added them...got plenty of it on himself as well. Thanks for bringing back memories!

Love the gifts you made for your little cutie!

Have you ever used the permenant Crayola crayons? Draw your picture on paper then put onto cotton or poly cotton by heat set?

You might send her a few pieces of paper cut to size you like to work with, send the transfer crayons and have her draw for you. Then transfer the pictures to fabric. Maybe alernate with a print.

Just remember if you draw on paper and transfer, you'll get mirror images.

While the crayons are supposed to be transfered----------you can draw onto fabric directly and avoid the mirror image problem

Your post was so enjoyable. The memories Raidons picture brought back were wonderful, and I'm still smiling remembering. Your little apron and tote are just the perfect thing for her. Thanks for sharing!
