Wow all so cute

QuiltNama 05-01-2011 05:23 AM

Oh my gosh, how cute is the stuff you made. Went to shophop yesterday and found a pattern by the lady who does Bean Counter patterns. It is a giraffe that can be made into a quilt or a wall hanging for measuring heights. It was so cute that I couldn't pass it up. Its made with mostly squares.

What size rotary cutter did you use, and what was the spacing between the cuts? What size needle did you use and yarn. Do you have a tute?

pennyswings1 05-01-2011 03:11 PM

Oh my goodness, they are both so beautiful. My favorite is your first quilt with the giraffe. But it is hard to choose since I love the bright jungle animals too. Babies love bright colors.
Congratulations grandma on your new addition. I remember with each of my grandsons I went overboard too. Have fun, that is what grandmas are for.
I have 3 ages grandsons ages, 11, 8 and 6 and I am still making them quilts, they love them and love to pick out their own themes and colors.

MamaBear61 05-01-2011 03:58 PM

I used a "skip stitch" blade. It makes about 1/2 inch holes. I think I got mine from Project Linus. It's great for fleece blankets, which would be nearly impossible to crochet through otherwise.

javin22 05-01-2011 07:56 PM

those are SOOOOOOOOOOO Cute! Great Job!
