I know, it's not a difficult quilt. But i spyed this floral corduroy and had to get it. I had the yellow and pink at home.

Very pretty and girly love the colors it turned out beautiful!

Can't wait to see it after it's been washed a few times! My first quilt was a self taught rag quilt. I still have a soft spot for them!
|
Believe me , i had to use a sticky roller on it several times to get all the little pieces of thread off to take the photos!

I LOVE the fabrics you used. I love rag quilts though, they are so comforting. The family including two sets of teen twins want me to make them flannel raggy quilts. I never even considered flannel so thank you for the inspiration and new idea for these quilts. My nieces and nephews recently sent me their heights so I would know they had outgrown their quilts which they use watching TV, on sleepovers and on their beds and two are attending college with their raggies. I so appreciate the way you used your prints and colors. I will save your pic for inspiration for the four I must make in the near future. Thank you, thank you. Cindy

I forgot to ask what size your squares were for your quilt? Thank you, Cindy
|
oh goodness, the squares were small. Five inches. I wouldn't do that again, but they worked fine. I did 1/2 inch seams too. and 4 inch sqs of batting inside.
