What a great design! That was a very creative idea you came up with for a table runner.

Jan, this is a fabulous runner and sure looks like a tiddlywink, or even the corners we used to use to put photos in. And so simple, 4 HSTs with a bat head Good imagination! Great Job.!!!

And love the ghost fabric!

Thanks. Not sure what you mean about HST. Yes, its the Tiddly Winks pattern. Its made from one large center square and two rectangles with sew and flip corners.

I'm going to try Tartan's ghost idea today, and see what I can come up with.

I've been looking for a simple bat pattern and this is perfect. Found the free pattern and sew simple. The French knots are perfect for the eyes.

Here's what I've been playing with over the weekend. I saw the Tiddly Winks block and it reminds me of tulips or birds or bats. The more I looked at it the more I thought it should be bats in a Halloween table runner. Just made this for fun from stuff in my stash. Decided my bats needed eyes and since I didn't have any seed beads I used French Knots. Just my crazy imagination running away with me. I named it "Going Batty."

Glad you like it. Yes, can't get much simpler than that! LOL Today I'm running with Tartan's idea and making ghosts. Will post that one, too.
