It's perfect as it is!! You captured RETRO, right on!!!
|
I love it, its very colorful and happy - it makes me smile. The only thing I might do is take the four center squares (made up of 3 pieces each) and rotate 3 of them clockwise (top right-1/4 turn, bottom right 2/4 turn, bottom left 3/4 turn) so that the floral pieces don't all meet in the center.

The navy blue and white stripe is good, but I think black and white would be jazzier.......and I'm thinking the navy and white stripe is just a background piece, but it looks good!

I love it, also, as is!! I'm in love with retro!! And I don't wanna go back to the 60's but this sure brings back the memories!! Thanks for sharing!

I would add a border but otherwise it is perfect for the funky look.
|
How about a double border of the funky colors you're already using, rather than the black/white stripe? Maybe a very narrow yellin' yellow, and then a wider knock'em dead orange!
|
I really like it!

I'm lovin it! If you just wanted a border, I would put a black and white checked one. My opinion, but it looks good as is!

I like the four squares together in the center, and I like those same fabrics in the top and bottom.
