Good Dogs Too
2 Attachment(s)
This quilt came from a panel (which I cut apart) called Good Dogs Too by Connie Haley. In the wide green inner border I quilted names of the many dogs that I or someone in my immediate family has owned. I gave the quilt to one of my daughters, who knew most of those dogs.

Cute quilt!

Oh, wonderful quilt! Our dogs are our faithful friends.
Sweet quilt.
That is cute. Did you freehand stitch the names? I did the Grands names in a summer quilt for picnics and it looks like a child did it!!! That is a skill. Great job!
A tribute to some much loved family and extended members. Great quilt!
What a great quilt!

I love dogs but I can't own one. Allergies prevent it. I have two wolfhounds that live next door that love me and and mind when I ask them to stop barking. All dogs know who loves them and who is mean. I love your quilt though.
By the way, the wiener dog pillow in my avatar is in honor of a little gal dog who used to live next door to me. She always wanted to come home with me. Daphne was her name. |
A really cute quilt. Love the happiness it gives anyone looking.
That's a really fun, happy quilt. I love all the dogs names quilted into it. I bet your daughter loves it.
Awwww, very cute. I love the border.

Another absolutely gorgeous quilt, everything about it.
What a fun way to use a panel and to honor the four-footed, tail wagging friends in your life.
Great quilt and fantastic quilting, Dunster! Wonderful way to remember all the dogs your family has loved.

What a wonderful quilt and tribute to our doggie loves!!! :)
Loved your story about quilting the dogs' names into the quilt!
Love, love, love the names quilted into this quilt! Gonna steal your idea and try to stitch encouraging words, but mine won't be as professional as yours!
Bright fun and oh sew cute, and your quilting is outstanding as always.
What a fun and happy quilt. Your quilting is perfect too. Yes, we love our dogs too and actually have them on our cross country trip to see our daughter and family near Seattle. It was their first road trip at age 7 and they have really gone with the flow.
