AHHHHHH I hope he comes back to you as well... but why does he have to leave at all?
What a heart warming story. This young man will cherish your quilt and I'm sure he will be back to thank you again for it. You are an angel to him!
Wonderful quilt! Hope you will have a life long relationship.
I did foster care for many many years and I understand how you can become attached. In my area we had something called permanent foster care. When my guy came to me at age 3, I peitioned for permanent foster care because he had special needs and I knew I couldn't care for him on my own. He's still with me at age 24! My son and daughter consider him their brother and their children call him uncle!
I love love love that quilt. It's beautious  |
Gorgeous quilt. I hope and pray "your" little man will do well in life. Beautiful story. I am sure he will treasure his quilt.
Awwww I have tears in my eyes. I hope and pray he comes back to you too. I am sure he will love his quilt and each time he snuggles under its warmth, he will always remember your arms around him. (((((((HUGS)))))))).

Beautiful quilt and he'll love your writing on it for him. I'm just so, so sorry.

What a sweet story. It sounds like your heart is breaking, again. I'm sorry for your loss, again. Clearly though you've (and he has) been rewarded with his return. You take care.
I love the why you worked in ther wording!
awwwwwwww how very sad.. he will love his gift..and I Hope he returns again!
What a lovely quilt and a great story of love. Apparently, he loves you too, since he's had his bear all that time. If he doesn't get to come back before he becomes an adult, I'll bet he'll be back then! Kids always remember the ones who were good to them during a bad situation.

This is beautiful and a beautiful story and you made me cry. My parents had six of us kids and we had a foster sister and brother with us for some time. I think about them but have no idea what happen to them. What beautiful gifts you gave to that foster son, something from the heart. Thx for sharing. Lura

Keeping the Elmo shows that you will always have a place in his heart! This world needs more people like you.

What a beautiful story, and beautiful quilt. So sad for these kids to get a happy home, only to be sent away again.
The quilt is wonderful and he will cherish it!

Oh Daysyboo, you definitely touched his heart (and mine) with what you did. We will pray that he comes back to you. It is a lovely quilt. The words says it all!

Tangible love-a hug whenever and wherever he needs it. I would come back to you every chance I had. A quilt as beautiful as the heart of the maker.
What a heartfelt post. I hope he comes back to you. You so obviously love him unconditionally.
We were blessed to adopt our three foster babies (sib set of 3) and they have flourished with the stability of a home and family. I am praying for you and for your foster son. Love the quilt, it made me cry. Deb |
I know he will treasure this quilt as he does Elmo and I pray that he receives the love and care he deserves
