My heart aches for both of you. I have done foster care, so I feel some of your pain. The quilt is beautiful. I am sure he will feel your love through it as his life moves on. I pray he is going into a good situation, it seems to be a real gamble for these poor kids, even when it is family.
God be with you both.

So very special, thank you for loving this precious little boy. He will never forget you. A beautiful quilt stitched with love. I hope you can always be a part of his life.

Wonderful story!! And, a wonderful quilt!! He is one lucky little guy to have someone as loving as you.

I am sure you have been very good to him. No matter where he goes you will always be in his heart. He will come back one day, even if he is then a grown man. Foster kids need more people like you. Oh. BTW, love the quilt and owls are my favourite birds. Thank you for sharing.

Consider putting your phone number on a little tag on the quilt that way he will be able to call you anytime he may want to or NEED to. You never know he may know your phone number now, but he may forget it. Thats what I would do. Bless his little heart. I hope that he finds the love that he needs. God Bless the young man and God Bless you too for taking him into your heart and home as I am sure that you have made a difference in his life. :)

Hugs! It is so very hard to love them, then have to let them go. I think you made him a quilt he probably really needs. It will remind him every time he sees it and wraps up in it that he is loved no matter where he is.
