Whats up with Goodwills pricing???

I bought several twin sheet sets last week at a garage sale for $2.00/set. I plan to use the pillow cases of 2 for pillowcase dresses for my grandaughters, this summer. The fitted and flat sheets will become backings for some of the Veterns wheelchair quilts!

Great idea that. Using the sheets for utility quilt backings...

I've stopped checking at my local Goodwill, they are pricing stuff for more than you can buy it at Walmart.

I too went to GW Inc today. Found a lovely floral print. I usually find SOME fabric each time I check it out. I LOVE GW!!

Got a good variety there. Some more challenging than others. We rarely get any cotton in our Charity Shops that can be used for quilts. We find shirts etc. but actual yardage is very rare.
