I think a lot of us like to see pictures of other creative crafts in the picture section and that is where you posted your pictures of your beautiful gourds. Thanks for sharing.

That is beautiful artwork there. Very innovative and the colours are just perfect. I love it. What paints did you use there. I assume they are acrylic, but can you give me the make. I used to have a ceramic shop so really am interested in this project.

I had never thought of painting gourds we have them here, now I have to try.

I'M TRYING TO SEND THE INSIDE OF THE GOURD. i PAINTED IT BLACK AND CLEANED THE BRUSHES ON IT WITH ALL THE OUTSIDE COLORS.
aLSO i HAVE 4 OF MY LONG HANDLED DIPPER GORDS.
HOPE THEY COME THROUGH.
I USE LUMINARTE AND LEATHE DY ON SOME OF THE DIPPERS

Beautiful work, love the long ones too.

Do you have to spray with a varnish to get that lovely sheen on them.

Those are beautiful gourds. I haven't painted any of the gourds we had before, I have made birdhouses and bird feeders out of them in the past.
