I wanted to add some additional, hopefully useful information on this quilt. I used Fairfield 80/20 cotton batting in a low loft, YLI invisible thread on the top and Gutterman variagated cotton thread for the bottom (Purple hues). I went through just over 9 bobbins of thread total. It's the first time I used this combination. I liked the YLI invisible. It worked like a charm and is very fine at .004 inches. I was also surprised at the low amount of lint buildup with the gutterman cotton thread in the bobbin. I wasn't totally enamored with the batting. It seemed to pull apart easily, when I was loading it onto the frame. I may take a look at some other cotton battings for my next quilt. But I do like the finished look the batting created.

Awesome quilt. Love your spirals. Did it stitch continous across the rows or stop, move and start again. I did turtles and it stopped after each turtle. I figured it was because I didn't get them connected. I thought I had but when it started quilting, I saw it wasn't.
