graduation Quilt
 

just finished this today. The GS that it is for is still not quite finished with earning his diploma. thought I'd share this just in time for the 4th of July!!! I bought the panel and then added fabrics. This is the first time I have used a striped fabric on the bias for the binding. I was told that the panel was comemoratong the anniversary of 9/11

It's very nice. I love how the binding turned out! I don't cut mine on the bias, but seeing how this turned out it might be worth a try. Thanks for posting.

They are just beautiful! It reminds me of a quilt I made for one of my daughters boy friend, she only gave me a month
to do it, and I was working out in a retail store, (very busy store) what we do for our kids huh! Any way it turned out to
be one of my best projects. She gave it to her boy friend for Christmas, he loved it, they broke up before New Years,
he wouldn`t give it back! Kind of brings a tear to your eye doesn`t it?
