I've been making quilts for most of my nieces and nephews as graduation gifts for the past 10 years. These are my 7th and 8th graduation quilts. This is the first time I've used the disappearing 9-patch block and I used it in different ways for both of the quilts, then appliqued the deer for my nephew and horses for my niece. I used the QAYG method for both.
I presented the quilts to them this weekend and they were both very appreciative.
