Thanks for the photos! I'm glad I wasn't a judge trying figure out which one got awards. The quality of work is amazing...way beyond my ability.

Beautiful!!! Beautiful!!! Beautiful!!!
Thanks for posting the quilts are BEAUTIFUL!!! I once saw one of those butterflies when running. I was amazed how beautiful it was. She/he really caught the essence of that butterfly.
What fabulous works of art!
Wowzers!!!!
Those are very beautiful quilts, thanks for sharing.
I wish I could have gone but was too tired after working all week. Next year will retire so hope to see you all there. I'm about 2 1/2 hours north of GR.
WOW, stunning quilts. I just love the landscapes, so realistic.
A friend and I went. The quilts are not just beautiful they a works of art. We Saw a few friends, walked our feet off, and met lots of really nice people, from all over. Not just from Mi. It was the biggest quilt in the state of Mi. We had a grand time.
WOW! Awesome talent there! My favorite however is the very 1st one!
Thank you for the reminder of the wonder we saw at the show. I was fascinated, especially with the little quilts, some had tiny pieces, some looked not much wider than a couple of rows of stitches. And the small, tight quilting on the tiny quilts! Then the magic of the large quilts! My eyes were almost as tired as my feet!
Wow... gorgeous but too too much work for me to ever attempt such a level of quilt making. I wonder what people do with these masterpieces after they make the show circuit? They are not exactly quilts that you would throw on a bed...
Beautiful quilts and Beautiful scenes quilted. Michagin is one of only six states that I haven't been to and I need to plan a trip. I do plan to get to the University of Nebraska quilt museum. 2014?

Wow! If these are made by casual (vs. professional) I'm overwhelmed. Especially the art quilts. I just don't know how anyone who is not an artist can put together such things. But, then, there are so many talented people out there anything is possible. In any case, congratulations to anyone who has a quilt among these fabulous pieces. Beautiful. And your photography is excellent, too. Very well done on all parts.

OMG what amazing and gorgeous quilts, especially the one with Mt. Rushmore, looks like a photo. Besides the exquisite quilts, the landscape and art quilts were spectacular. My quilts pale in comparison, but when I look at my first quilts to the ones I make now, I can see a huge improvement - practice makes perfect. There are some amazing quilters out there. Thank you so much for sharing these quilts with us.

I would have hated to be the judges. How would they ever pick out of so many amazing quilts.
I was only able to go on Saturday and wished I would have had two or three days there. The quilts were absolutely stunning and the shopping was wonderful!! I definetly helped the economy!! I was so glad they had a place to check your packages!! Next year I will be going for at least two days. The dates for next year in Grand Rapids, MI are August 20-23, 2014.
