Wow, how old is your DGD again? She really is very talented. You are "assisting" her, aren't you? My DGD wants to learn to sew (she is 11) and I just wish we had enough time together to teach her. She deserves a huge reward for her work.

It must be awesome to work with her and teach her things about quilting. I have tried to teach my 2 older GD to sew and quilt; they'd rather sit and read books or run around town with their friends. Tell her to keep on doing a great job.

She is very talented and must be having fun if her output is anything to go by. Tell her well done from us? And well done to you too for teaching her!
