Love, love, love it! All the beautiful colors and different prints, they work so well together with the pattern. Then the quilting, well, that's the icing on the cake!!! Your DGD is going to absolutely love it!

I love the way that the flowers pop. There is a perfect amount of quilting to allow them to float on the surface. I also like the parallelogram style of the facings of the blocks.

Wonderful quilt. The half square triangles at the corners softens to whole look of the quilt. Lovely applique.

Your quilt is so lovely. How wonderful that she picked the fabrics and pattern and Grandma made it for her. I think you planted quilting seeds. I just finished a queen size quilt as a Wedding gift. We did it the same way. The bride chose the colors and the pattern and the fabrics. She and hubby love it. I love that there is no guessing about what they would like.

This is a quilt I made for my granddaughter last winter. My granddaughter came to visit from South Dakota and picked the fabric and the pattern. I finally made myself put one of my quilts in the quilting line. I am going to start doing one a month of my own. I'm debating about mailing it once I get it blinded or save it for Christmas. Everything is free hand. I did fun feathers and a stipple in her quilt. The last picture is of back. I put a block in and pieced back with a couple prints from top. Thanks for looking.

Your quilt is so pretty. I love the colors-they are so sweet little girl colors. I like your pattern because shows off the fabrics so beautifully. And, the quilting just complements it so well. Great success and I know a little girl will treasure it. Do you have extra fabric? How about making and sending her a pillowcase now and the quilt for Christmas.
